Vanity takes over for the Archers.

Nigel takes the children up to Uncle Rupert's gazebo to put a poppy there. He tries to get across to them how terrible the war Rupert served in was, and how many young men are at risk today. He's going to speak in church on Remembrance Day.

The Archer children gather at the Stables to have a look at the photo they've had taken as an anniversary present for Phil and Jill. There's talk about the Shire horse that Nigel wants to buy, and then some of the cows getting out. When they try to choose a picture there are differences of opinion. Phil and Jill turn up unexpectedly and find all their children there looking guilty. Kenton makes up a ludicrous excuse. But when Phil and Jill talk about it afterwards, Jill says Phil can talk - he was definitely up to something in Borchester the other day. Up to something? says Phil. Honestly Jill! What sort of husband does she take him for?
