It's confession time for David and Ruth.

Two policemen arrive at Taylor's house in Bournemouth to arrest him. Frightened, he protests his innocence as they drag him down to the station and put him in a cell. Later, he regains his composure during an interview with DS Collins, saying that any sex between him and Kathy was consensual - and frankly, she was really up for it.

David asks Ruth if they can have a chat later. When they do, a shocked Ruth realises that he is afraid she wants to have the reconstruction so she can be attractive to other men. It's a blow to Ruth - she tells David she thought they were further in the repair of their relationship than it seems they are. She assures him that the breast reconstruction is for her, and for him. He's got to learn to trust her again.

Jennifer asks Adam to look after Ruairi while she and Brian go to Barcelona. He tells her he has already offered, and Brian has refused - she and Adam both know why. Jennifer can hardly believe it, and says she will talk to Brian. She's let too many things go by in the past without speaking out.
