Jennifer finds Alice having a bit of time with Spearmint. She's going to miss him. Alice invites Jennifer to come with them to the airport - Adam is taking them. Brian is very down. He wants to make it up with Alice if he can. He's cross with Adam for saying he'll take her, but Jennifer says it's not Adam who's been thoughtless lately. She confronts Brian about not wanting Adam and Ian to care for Ruairi, and Brian tries to tell her how he feels. He knows that Ruairi would come to no harm - but they are not the sort of role model he wants for his son. It's too confusing. Jennifer is robust in their defence.

Fallon is depressed at the pub with Kirsty. Jazzer has fixed up a date for Ed, so he's out with another girl. She cheers up no end when Ed turns up after the worst date of his life. Fallon's hopes are raised, but dashed again when Ed says that's it for him - no more dating ever.
