David seeks out Ruth to talk to her again. He opens his heart. He's done a lot of thinking, and their relationship and their lives are too precious to be thrown away because of a bit of male pride. They find a moment of forgiveness and love, which has been a long time coming and is very welcome to them both.

Shula throws a party for Jill's birthday.

Everyone who knows is very worried for Kathy, and Kenton is being very supportive. Owen (Taylor) is in court today - Kathy is waiting to hear if he will get bail. Finally, she gets the call saying that bail has been refused. It's a great relief to her. She is also told that the police might want to conduct some more interviews. Kenton hopes they include him. He's been feeling quite left out and he wants to help put Taylor away. Elizabeth says it's not as much fun as you might think.
