Will finds himself in the spotlight.

Clarrie is itching to know more about Nic. She goes to see Will at work and quizzes him about her until Will begins to lose patience.

Jennifer goes to ask Alice if she would mind Jennifer going to South Africa to see Sipho, Kate's new baby. She's concerned because she would be away when Alice gets her A level results. Alice doesn't mind at all - she'll deal with whatever happens. Jennifer thinks perhaps she will go, then.

Lynda gets a letter from Borsetshire Life full of praise for her restaurant review and suggesting she may get further commissions. She gets a cheque, but as it's made out to Dylan Nells, she can't cash it. The editor asks for a face-to-face meeting to discuss further work. Robert thinks she'll have to come clean now but Lynda wants to push the deception a bit further in order to prove herself. She persuades Robert to pretend to be Dylan in a meeting with Glen Whitehouse, editor of the magazine.
