Charles Chilton - Victorian Top of the Pops

Part of BBC Radio 4 Extra's tribute to the remarkable talent of writer and producer Charles Chilton, who died on 2 January 2013 at the age of 95.

Charles Chilton devised and produced over 150 specialist radio programmes, and this one features a selection of songs and piano pieces that made the 'charts' in his great-grandfather's day during the reign of Queen Victoria. With Joseph Cooper and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
