Series following environmental health officers in Edinburgh. Pest controllers attempt to bring down the city's seagull numbers and compete to see who can catch the biggest rat.

Mortuary technician Vicky Squires, is faced with a body which is so badly decomposed it is virtually unidentifiable. Pest controllers Jim Byrne and David Murray attempt to bring down the city's soaring seagull population. Elsewhere a cockroach infestation is overwhelming a council high rise kitchen and the boys from Pest Control compete to see who can catch the biggest rat.
