Summertime, and pest controllers Jim Byrne and Freddy Patterson have the ultimate gadget to see off all the wasps. During the Fringe festival, every street and theatre act brings with it hundreds of posters and flyers, and street cleaner Ray Stevenson is there to sweep them all up. Keeping the city's eateries clean is the job of food inspector Joy Hadden, who encounters a communication breakdown with a Chinese takeaway owner.
