Animated tale of a Mustang stallion captured by horse traders and sold to a cavalry regiment at a frontier outpost, where a cruel colonel tries to break the free-spirited horse.
Animated story of Spirit, a proud, free-spirited stallion who goes from roaming the Old West in 19th-century North America, to being captured by the US army and forced to work on the burgeoning railroads.
While captive, Spirit befriends a young Lakota prisoner and the two manage to escape together. However, a domineering US army colonel is hell-bent on getting him back and taming him.
