Melodrama about an ambitious Australian senator whose son is cured of leukaemia by a faith healer - but he discovers that there is a high price to pay. The senator is overjoyed when his son is pronounced well, but then he learns that the mysterious healer has seduced his wife and is threatening to disrupt his political career.
