The Mexican
Gory thriller with comic touches about a gangster (Brad Pitt) who is sent to Mexico to obtain an antique pistol which, though priceless, may be cursed.
Jerry Welbach, a reluctant bagman, has been given two ultimatums. The first is from his mob boss to travel to Mexico to retrieve a cursed antique pistol known as the Mexican or to suffer the consequences.
The second ultimatum is from his girlfriend, Samantha, to end his life of crime. Jerry figures alive and in trouble with Samantha is better than the more permanent alternative, so he heads south of the border...
