Memories
Four children are taken to Devon for a crash course in poetry. Sunesh, Corey, Aziza and Frandella must write a free verse poem on their experiences.
Four children are given a week off school and are taken to a farm in Devon for a crash course in poetry writing. In this programme, Sunesh, Corey, Aziza and Frandella are challenged to write a free verse poem on something that they either experience during their stay or something that they remember from their past.
Poet-in-residence Paul Lyalls is on hand to help, and they get a visit from poet Michael Rosen, who reads one of his poems and gives tips on how to write poetry. There are also poems on film from James Berry and Matthew Sweeney to inspire them.
