A series of four programmes for seven- to 11-year-olds exploring reading and writing poetry in all its diversity. Each programme follows a group of four children on a farm in Devon for a crash course in poetry writing.
In this programme, they are challenged to write a free verse poem on something that they observe during their stay. Kat Francois is their poet in residence and they also get a visit from poet Brian Patten who reads one of his poems and gives them tips on how to write poetry.
