Drama about a lonely, isolated British intelligence agent who becomes obsessed with a woman suspected of blackmailing the son of a senior British official. While tracking her, he witnesses her killing the official's son, but her resemblance to his long-lost daughter compels him to continue his surveillance rather than hand her in.
