Western about a man's attempt to recover his reputation after killing his gang leader - a man wrongly perceived as a hero. After the murder, he is reviled wherever he goes until he arrives in Table Rock, where the sheriff needs help in subduing a rowdy gang of trailherders. While helping to put them to flight, the cowboy falls for the sheriff's wife.
