Lesson 21
A trip to Paris

Michelle: On Thursday evening I came home from work and I started packing. I thought... hmm... it might be quite useful to find my passport, 'cos I need that to travel.

Half an hour later I still couldn't find it. Then my husband started looking for the passport as well. And we were due to leave at about 10 o'clock in the morning, so we looked until 2 in the morning, then went to bed for a couple of hours.

Then at 6 I got up and looked again for another couple of hours, and then gave up - so we didn't go to Paris!

Then on the Sunday I decided to tidy up the room which we'd been through loads of times because we wanted to find the passport, and I went in to tidy it up and -there! - this is the worst thing - there, on top of a pile of papers was the passport, just looking at me! So it'd been there all the time!
