Di young fashion designer, Veekee tok say many men dey intimidated by her success for business and na wetin plenty women of her type wey dey successful dey face for life.

Veekee wey grow up for Ajegunle, one of di slum areas for Lagos South west Nigeria tell BBC News Pidgin about her inspiring tori of how she no even know say she go become a fashion designer.

She say she bin feel say she go become career woman afta she go school but tins no come happun as she plan am.

Veekee James say she decide to focus on wetin she say na her ‘Obioma’ work, wey don bring her fame for di fashion industry.

“Di way I take start fashion, me I no even know say I go be fashion designer”

She explain how she take start di fashion from her mama parlour becos her mama na tailor.

Veekee also share her experience as she take drop out of school and pursue her hustle.

“I no go tok say na di best tin for everibodi to do but for me na di best decision wey I don make for my life.

She explain say she dey always tok am say “education dey good but if you no fit combine di two tin togeda make you chose one den later you fit pursue education in future as she dey also do some kain tin concerning education.
