‘One small boy say I go die witout pikin’ - Seventy-year-old woman wey born twins tok

One 70-year-old woman for Uganda give birth to twins through IVF on Wednesday.

Di woman identified as Safina Namukwaya born one boy and one girl afta 40 years of waiting.

Na Safina second delivery in three years, afta she bin give birth to baby girl for 2020.

According to di Women's Hospital International and Fertility Centre where Safina born, her tori no be just about medical success, but also about di strength and resilience of di human spirit.

Inside one video wey, di fertility hospital post ontop dia Facebook page, Safina tok say she dey take care of oda pipo pikin but wen dem grow dem go leave am.

"I come dey wonder who go stay wit me wen I don old. One small boy don tell me before say na my mama curse me say I go die witout any pikin wey I born," she tok.

She say since wen she don dey di hospital, her husband neva come see her, and add say na fertility expert Doctor Edward Sali dey give am moni for food.

“I no know how I go take care of dis pikin but God dey in charge. You fit get one pikin and still dey burden but wit twins, sometimes I dey weak for bodi and I no fit go farm go plant crops wey I fit sell. Evri pikin get e own blessing.

On im part, Doctor Sali tok say dem don run plenti test on di mother.

Di fertility expert tok say physical fitness dey important to carry pregnancy for nine months.

Dis no be di first time septuagenarian go dey make headline for giving birth, for 2019, one 73-year-old woman bin break world record to become di oldest to born pikin afta she give birth to twins through IVF afta 54 years of marriage.

Mangayamma Yaramati wey come from India, give birth to two healthy baby girls, inside Ahalaya nursing home for Guntur city.

Safina born her twin around 12:04 pm on Wednesday through caesarean section for di fertility hospital.

"Men no like to hear say dia wife dey carry more dan one pikin. Ever since dem admit me here, my man neva show up," she tok.

Meanwhile, di Women Hospital International and Fertility Centre for Ugandan capital, Kampala, for dia Facebook page claim say at age 70 Safina na di oldest Africa woman wey go born pikin.

Di fertility hospital tok say both di mama and her pikin dey do well.
