“The attention of di Nigerian Army (NA) don dey drawn to one viral audio-visual recording wey dey circulate on social media platforms, purportedly showing one senior Army officer and 2 oda soldiers for one quarrel wit a man and woman within di Abuja metropolis.

“Di circumstances wey lead to dis incident no dey clear at di moment.

“However, di Acting Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, don order immediate investigation to unravel di true circumstances surrounding dis quarrel.

“Di NA remain committed to serve and protect all law-abiding Nigerians as e dey inside di Constitution of di Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Therefore, we urge the public to dey rest assured say due diligence go dey applied to reach a logical conclusion on dis mata."

Meanwhile, di couple don write to di Nigerian Army to dismiss di officer and two soldiers wey allegedly brutalise dem, and dem also ask for 150 million naira compensation.
