Speaking to BBC Fame Under Fire podcast, di Macrons dia lawyer for di case, Tom Clare, tok say Mrs Macron find di claims "incredibly upsetting" and dem be "distraction" to di French president.

"I no wan tok say di mata don somehow throw am off im game. But just like anybody wey dey manage between im career plus family life, wen your family dey under attack, e go tell on you. And e no dey immune from dat bicos e be president of a kontri," e tok.

Oga Clare say "expert testimony go dey and e go dey scientific in nature" and while im no go reveal, for dis stage, di exact nature, e say di couple dey prepared to demonstrate fully "both generically and specifically" say di allegations na false.

"E dey incredibly upsetting to reason say you gatz go subject yourself, to put dis type of proof forward," e tok.

"Na process wey she must go through to prove herself to di public. But she dey ready and willing to do am. She don make up her mind to do whatever e take to set di record straight.

"If dat unpleasantness and dat discomfort na wetin she go need to set di record straight and stop dis, she dey 100% ready to carry dat burden."

Ms Owens, one former commentator for conservative US outlet Daily Wire and wey get millions of followers on social media, don repeatedly promote her view say Brigitte Macron na man.
