Neco release 2025 external result, recommend exam supervisors and centres for sanction sake of malpractice

Di National Examinations Council don release di results of di 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for external candidates.

NECO dey conduct dis kain external exam to give opportunity to pipo wey bin miss di normal internal exam or for candidates wey need to improve dia grades.

Na di Registrar and Chief Executive of Neco, Dantani Wushishi announce di release of di results for one press conference for dia headquarters for Minna, Niger State dis Tuesday.

According to oga Wushishi, na total of 95,160 candidates bin sit for di examination, 51,823 males and 45,156 females.

Out of dis number, 93,425 bin take English Language and more dan 73,000 of dem get credit and above.

For Maths, 93,330 candidates bin take di exam and 85,256 score credit and above.

In general, 68,166 pipo wey represent 71.63% of di total candidates wey sit for di exam get five credits and above including for English Language and Mathematics.

For di oda hand, 82,082 candidates get five credits and above irrespective of English and Maths.

Di total number of subjects wey candidates bin sit for na 16.

Di Neco registrar also say dem bin catch 9,016 candidates wey involve demsef for exam malpractice, and dis numba na 31.7% increase wen you compare am wit di one for 2024 wey di total malpractice na 6,160.

Five examination supervisors don dey recommended for sanction as dem allegedly chook hand for di malpractice. Two of dis supervisors na from di Federal Capital Territory (FCT), while Adamawa State, Kano State and Ondo State also get one pesin each.

Also, di exam body say dem don recommend four exam centres wia malpractice bin hapun for punishment, and dis punishment fit mean say Neco no go use di centres again for future exams.
