Di oda faction dey loyal to di Minister of di Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, wey refuse to leave di party despite say e dey for di cabinet of APC-led Nigeria President Bola Tinubu.

Na up to nine cases bin dey in front of di Appeal court ontop PDP mata as dia crisis kontinu. Sadly, plenti govnors don decamp comot for di party to go join di ruling APC.

Recently, di Court of Appeal dismiss di appeal by one faction of di PDP wey order di Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) make dem no recognise di result of di national convention wey di oda faction bin hold for Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15 and 16, 2025.

For November 2025, PDP elect Kabiru Turaki (SAN) as dia National Chairman and Taofeek Arapaja as National Secretary for di convention wey dem hold, but dat no go well wit di oda faction.

For di convention, dem pursue di FCT minister Wike, former govnor of Ekiti State Ayo Fayose plus some oda top members of di party sake of accuse say dem do anti-party tins.

Some party stakeholders call make di factions accept di verdict of di Court of Appeal, so di party go fit hold new convention as some dey fear say Inec fit disqualify di party from bringing out candidates for di 2027 elections.

Inside all dis kasala Inec timetable for di 2027 general elections say make political parties do dia primary elections from April 23 to May 30 dis year, but which of di two PDP factions dey recognisable.

"My own position na say Court of Appeal don rule. Howeva, wit di revised timetable by di Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), e dey obvious say time no dey to wait for di Supreme Court decision."

Saraki say if dem no resolve di court cases, PDP no go fit meet di deadlines to nominate candidates fro 2027 election.

E say make di party focus on full recovery instead of dragging di issue to Supreme Court level.

"I believe say di only option open to all of us na to end all litigation and work wit di arrangements wey dey on ground to hold national convention within di INEC timetable."

Saraki say dose leaders of di party wey no get wetin dem desire from di court cases, make dem consider di 'bigger interest of di PDP for di 2027 elections and beyond.'

For 2027 election, Saraki say e get members wey wan contest for di platform of di PDP and now na di time to save di party make dem no fail.

On di oda side, di Senator wey dey represent Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, also add her voice to di kasala wey dey rock PDP.

Ahead of di 2027 general elections, Natasha say na di time for di party to 'strengthen internal democracy.

She lament say long legal battles within di party no dey help pipo wey wan contest election under di PDP platform.

"For moments like dis, leadership demand say we rise above personal interests and focus on di greater good of our party and our nation."

"Dis time na to come togeda, engage constructively, and organize national convention wey show unity and democratic values of our party."
