President Tinubu reward D'Tigress wit national honours, $100,000 each for winning AfroBasket

Nigeria president Bola Tinubu don give di women national basketball team members national honours and cash gift for wining di 2025 Women's AfroBasket for Ivory Coast.
President Tinubu promise to give each player $100,000 and additional $50,000 to members of di technical crew.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, wey represent President Tinubu for di event, announce di reward as im receive di D'Tigress for di presidential villa on Monday 4 August.
During di reception, Tinubu honour evri member of di wining AfroBasket squad wit di Officer of di Order of di Niger (OON) award.
Di vice president hail di team achievement and say dem show strength, resilience, and unity of Nigerian spirit.

Each player and official for di team go also get one flat each for di Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Nigeria beat Mali 78-64 to win dia fifth straight title and seventh overall.
