Di state commissioner of health, Asabe Balarabe, tell BBC News Pidgin say dis one shele for three local goment areas of di Sokoto.
She say goment don take quick action to stop di disease from spreading by setting up one response team.
Balarabe say di disease spread for Sokoto North, Silame, and Kware local goment areas for di state.
"Na true be say cholera outbreak happun for three local goments area for Sokoto; Sokoto North, Silame and Kware".
"As e dey now we don record 25 dead and oda 1,160 dey get treatment for hospitals" Balarabe tok.
She add say dem still get active cases for some local goment areas.
"We still get 15 active cases of cholera for di areas wey di outbreak happun and di pipo dey in critical condition, but we don give dem medicine and dem still dey on treatment."
Balarabe say dia investigation show say di outbreak happun sake of di water pipo consume for di areas.
"Our investigation finda say pipo get di disease from di water wey dem drink wey dey veri near gutters. Also some of di tap water wey di residents dey use dey veri close to toilets and gutters wey dem no clean."
Di commissioner for health for di state tok say all measures dey in place for stopping di outbreak from spreading to oda parts of di state.
"We don already share free medicine to di remaining 18 local goment areas wit oda stake holders to help stop di spreading of cholera for di remaining part of Sokoto."
She add say dey dem get provision wia dem dey quarantine pipo wey bin dey infected
"We also get some IBH centres for Amanawa and for Specialist hospital in Sokoto town wey we dey quarantine pipo wey bin dey infected to stop di cholera from spreading."
Di commissioner ask pipo for Sokoto especially women to dey look carefully for di kain of food and water dem dey use for cooking.
