But di rules around social distancing for public and di use of facemask still dey ground kampe.

Wetin be di rules?

No face mask no service

Goment say anybodi wey dey enta public space must to wear face mask. Dis also mean say if you no wear face mask make

drivers no gree make you enta dia car, make companies, schools, worship centres and banks no allow you enter dia premises.

Even wen pesin dey enta motor im suppose wear face mask.

Social distance

Goment say make pipo dey maintain social distance for public space and for social gatherings including burials and even inside public transport. Pipo suppose stay 2meters away from each other.

Goment also direct schools, worship centres, markets and companies to install hand washing equipments for dia domot for anybodi wey wan enta dia.

Also, to carri more dan two pipo for back seat of small cars na offense and buses must carri only 60 percent of dia usual capacity in oda to maintain social distance.

Curfew still dey

Na offense to drive or move around for night as di 10pm to 4am lockdown curfew dey in effect.

Wetin be di penalty for breaking di rules?

If pesin break any of these rules, im dey at risk of arrest by enforcement agencies.

Security agencies wey get goment approval to enforce di oda na Police, LASTMA. KAI, Lagos Neigbourhood watch, VIS and even ordinary citizen get right to ensure say pesin wey no wear face mask no fit enta dia car or enta dia business premises.

Although no written law show wetin be di punishment for breaking di rules according to di Lagos Commissioner for information Gbenga Omotoso.

Some of di enforcement agencies like di Lagos State Traffic Management Agency LASTMA say dem dey fine defaulters 20,000 Naira for each offense.
