Queens University in Belfast is quietly making a name for itself as a centre of excellence when it comes to astronomy. Working in concert with a state-of-the-art observatory in the Canary Islands, they've discovered several new planets over the past year. The department hope to secure funding to build on their success in scouring the cosmos for new worlds.
