- My mate is worse than one of the spice girls, he straightens his hair, moisturises daily and even has his eyebrows waxed...I've slagged him off for ages but today found myself eying up some male grooming beauty products...I bought a clenser and moisturiser...so maybe I'm turning into a spiceboy aswell?? I think all fellas like some TLC at heart and I suppose there's nothing wrong with beauty products...just as long as it's not lip-stick..ha ha; Lorealman

- I've been debating waxing recently, but I don't think I could walk into a shop and ask for it, it would feel a little silly.

- Obviously it depends on the lady, but I would usually be attracted to a lady who's in good shape, not unhealthily underweight, or badly overweight, I suppose it's evolutionary.

As for the ladies, I'd be afraid of sitting on one of those skinny types...especially if I lost me goggles.I may just snap 'em like a twig.

- I once almost had my chest waxed which stung like fook and bruised the same. It was so painful I had to stop and shave the rest. Though as for being hairless, I'm loving having a shaved head at the mo as I was so sick of my floppy boyband do only probs is it's soo cold in belfast.

- super skinny is as dangerous as being overweight though. Society seems to be going to each extreme these days though. - PJ

I am not in the slightest bit attracted to Keira Knightly for example; pretty face, yes; but the rest of her verges on repulsive. - nephilim

Its all about perspective really. I'm only attracted to skinnier girls because its in proportion to me. Not overly skinny like but slim, its natural selection in effect. - PJ

I know the main theories in psychology in relation to attractiveness say it's down to waist-to-hip ratio and also similars attract (not opposites as is the common misconception).

That would suggest that you'll be more inclined to get funky with somone of similar stature to yourself. As with everything in psychology though; it can only ever be 95% true. - nephilim

Another (apparently) important one is the structural symmetry of the face. We supposedly award people attractiveness merit on the basis of rapid and sub-conscious calculations of how even/uneven someone's face is.

But I dunno on that one, a prime example is your woman Sarah Jessica Parker. She has, to be frank, a huge face. However, in some instances she manages to look quite attractive, yet in another she looks quite unattractive (to me anyways). Her face has better "angles" than others, but then maybe that's because her face looks more symmetrical for a particular angle. - nephilim
