A site of huge historical interest, Whitlingham Country Park is also an important wildlife reserve - home to many butterflies, birds and dragonflies.

Combining these elements of the park, Paul Bolton of the Whitlingham Charitable Trust and Tony Polack from the Norfolk Wildlife Trust are your video guides in a tour of the country park.

The orange route is a history tour of the park and includes a stunning Victorian lime avenue, the discovery of Neolithic flint-knapping and Palaeolithic remains in Whitlingham Wood, along with details of the changing landscape through extensive chalk mining.

The yellow route takes you on a nature tour around the Great Broad. Ideal for wheelchair and buggy accessibility, this route explores the many wildflowers, indigenous flora, insect life and birds you can discover on a walk around the water's edge.

The park, once part of the Crown Point Estate owned by the famous Colman family, is now managed by the Whitlingham Charitable Trust with assistance from the Broads Authority.
