Should snacks be banned at shows after Oscars mess?

- Published
People have been reacting to a photo showing that the celebs attending the Oscars this weekend left the Dolby Theatre in quite a bit of mess!
The photo, taken by Matt Neglia from the Next Best Picture website, shows rubbish left near seats, food trodden into carpets and water bottles dumped.
But have you wondered if you might see - or leave - a similar mess when you go to the cinema or to see a show at the theatre? And who cleans it up?
Perhaps its time to get stricter with showgoers - should snacks be banned altogether?
Let us know what you think - does a littery mess like this show that eating and watching shouldn't go together, or is that going too far - snacks are part of the whole fun?

People going to the Oscars had snack boxes provided under their seats for the ceremony.
It's a tradition that's been going on for years at the Academy Awards.
Inside the snack box this year was a bag of popcorn, a bottle of water and some sweets to help them through the very long show.
But the mess left behind has got people talking about whether people should be expected to clean up after themselves instead of leaving it for staff to sort out.
Should food be a total no-no, or should people be expected to tidy up after themselves a bit more.
What do you do with your snack rubbish in the cinema or theatre?
