Delta Goodrem says she's 'gutted'
Doctors have advised the Australian singer-songwriter to rest and focus on healing.
"I'm absolutely gutted that a rib injury means I won't be able to dance on Strictly this week," said Delta in a statement.
"I've been loving every second of this experience, so having to sit this one out is heart-breaking - especially after the high of Saturday night."
She said she hopes to "be back on that dancefloor very soon", adding that she'll be cheering on everyone who is performing this Saturday.
Both Delta and Kai will automatically go through to the next round.
A Strictly spokesperson said: "In line with the rules of the show, Delta and Kai will receive a bye through to next week, when it is hoped they will be able to dance again.
"We wish Delta the very best as she continues her recovery."
