Which do YOU think is the best colour of car?

When you're older, have you thought about what colour car you might want?

Figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show that UK adults are pretty boring when it comes to their car colour of choice.

Grey was the UK's most popular colour in 2025 for the eighth year in a row.

But green cars are on the up! Their new car sales increased by 46% to reach a 21-year high, but it's only the seventh overall most popular choice.

Fewer than 100 cars were registered in fun colours like turquoise and pink.
