A man has been arrested over the death of another man who was stabbed in a street attack.

Lauric Lebato, 22, from London, died in hospital after being found with a stab wound in Albion Street, Leicester, at about 04:00 GMT on Saturday.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in Kent on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

Two other men, aged 19 and 20, have also been arrested in Kent on suspicion of violent disorder.

They were also held on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon.

Police said they believed Mr Lebato was at a party in a nearby flat before the attack.

His father, Tagbeu Lebato, urged anyone who knew anything about his son's death to tell police and not "hold it back".
