A pilot killed when his light aircraft crashed at Newquay Airport has been named locally.
Tony Richards, 68, from Falmouth, was pronounced dead at the scene when the Piper PA-34 Seneca twin-engined plane crashed off the runway on approach from London.
The airport closed after the incident at 19:35 BST on 17 August and reopened at 06:00 BST on Tuesday.
The Air Accident Investigation Branch has launched an investigation.
