BBC News reaches 418 million people globally on average per week, largely through the World Service, and remains the most trusted international news provider – it also ranks first for independence and reliability.
The BBC is the most widely recognised British cultural export amongst all demographics around the world - 76% of influential decision-makers have heard of BBC News, higher than any other British cultural export.
BBC users are more favourable towards the UK and more likely to think it has global influence – they’re also more likely to invest in the UK and more likely to believe in democratic values than non-users.
