Olive was working at Marks & Spencers and Murphy was at Burtonwood during two tours of duty (47 - 52 and 57 - 61) when they met.
They were married in February 1950.  | | Olive and 3 of her friends all married American G.I.s |
The couple had one of their babies in the 200 bed base hospital.
