 | |  | Wednesday 07 July I am painfully writing this extract of my diary as the skin from most of my fingers has been sliced off due to mosaic. But at least I have finally finished the SOS logo on the mural. I had to rummage through the tip to find the valuable tiles needed for completion. I had no children helping today, only Yazer from Deheishe camp painting Winnie the Pooh. I will let the children back on it on Friday. The sun is 'cruel' this week, as my host Nimer had adequately put it. Any hard work in this heat is so well balanced out by the finest Palestinian hospitality and help from everybody around.
There is always a child bringing cold water or juice, or a Mother supplying a plate of watermelon, or a glass of mint tea. I feel bad when sometimes my desperate attempts to direct the enthusiastic children in Arabic sometimes may sound less than courteous as they
