I think it was a crime and that both Lucy's brother-in-law and Arthur could be very involved  in the murder. And of course there were monetary interests. Who knows?

Thanks for this exciting way of learning English. I wait for the new series almost with the same impatience as for a TV series. You actors speak like real people. Sometimes it is hard to understand which particular words they say, but due to having the transcription, it is very, very useful in comparison to just listening to e.g. the news. And due to the short duration of every part of the story, I feel comfortable listening to the problem parts several times.
