ती मुलगी म्हणाली, “तिला भेटीची वेळ ठरवायची आहे.” यासाठी कुठला प्रश्न विचारला तिने? ऐका.

Yes, we use the phrase ‘Can I…’ and combine it with ‘book an appointment?’ to make this request. Let’s practise it together. Repeat after me:

तिने प्रश्नात काय विचारलं? ती ‘for next Monday afternoon’ म्हणाली की ‘at next Monday afternoon’?

Appointment घेताना त्या वेळेच्या संदर्भात ‘for’ वापरतात. पुढच्या सोमवारी म्हणजे next Monday. आणि मग ज्या वेळी हवी आहे त्याप्रमाणे म्हणतात. ‘morning’, ‘afternoon’ किंवा ‘evening’. म्हणजे पुढच्या मंगळवारी हवी असेल तर...

ती व्यक्ती म्हणाली,  “दुपारी दोन वाजता चालेल?” असं विचारताना तो म्हणाला, ‘How about 2pm?

ती म्हणाली हो, ‘perfect’, see you then’. म्हणजे, “चालेल, भेटू मग तेव्हा”. इथे then चा अर्थ त्या वेळी, म्हणजे दोन वाजता.
