హలో, బాగున్నారాEnglish Expressions కార్యక్రమం లోకి స్వాగతం. నా పేరు సౌమ్య. కొత్త పద ప్రయోగాలూ, ఇంగ్లిష్‌లో వాటి వాడకం – ఇవన్నీ మీకిక్కడ తెలుస్తాయి.   ఇవాళ   ‘food for thought’- మెదడుకు మేత, అన్న ప్రయోగం చూద్దాం! ఇది మనలో చాలామందికి తెలిసిన expression కదా. ఈ భావాన్ని ఇంగ్లిష్‌లో ఎలా వాడతారో, ఎప్పుడెప్పుడు వాడతారో ఇవాళ తెలుసుకుందాం.

Finn, FeiFei ఏం మాట్లాడుకుంటున్నారో విందాం.  Finn ఏం చేద్దాం అనుకుంటున్నాడు? Feifei కి Finn ఆలోచన సరైనదే అనిపిస్తోందా?

Feifei

Hi Finn. What are you doing here sitting alone in the canteen? Can I sit with you?

Finn

Sure. Take a seat, Feifei.

Feifei

Mind if I take a chip? They look good.

Finn

Oh yeah, go ahead! I'm just eating this quickly as I'm going out soon, you know? I'm going to take a look at a car. It's a sports car! I've always wanted one.

Feifei

A sports car? Sounds expensive. How can you afford a sports car?

Finn

Well, it's a second-hand car. The owner needs to sell it quickly so they're selling it really cheaply. What a great opportunity!

Presenter

Give అంటే ఇవ్వడం. ఇక్కడ give అనే క్రియాపదాన్ని వాడుతూ ఎవరు మనకు మెదడుకు మేత ఇస్తున్నారో చెప్పాలి.
