‘Wheel’ అంటే చక్రం, and ‘invent’ కనిపెట్టడం. పదానికి ముందు ‘Re’ పెడితే మళ్లీ చెయ్యడం అని అర్ధాన్నిస్తుంది. So చక్రం ఎప్పుడు కనిపెట్టబడింది? చాలా కాలం క్రితం, right? చాలా సులభంగా కనిపెట్టి ఉంటారనిపిస్తుందా లేక అతి పెద్ద విష్కరణ అనిపిస్తుందా - మీరేమంటారు? Now, మీ carకొక చక్రం కావాలంటే, మళ్లీ అంత శ్రమా పడాలా ? … No, of course not –శతాబ్లాల క్రితం కనిపెట్టబడిన దాన్నే చక్కగా వాడుకుంటాం కదా – ‘reinvent the wheel’ ఒక కొత్త చక్రాన్ని కనిపెడతామా. ఎవరైనా సమయాన్ని వృధా చేస్తున్నారనిపించినప్పుడు ఈ ప్రయోగాన్ని వాడతాం గనక తరుచుగా negative form లోనే ‘don’t reinvent the wheel’ అంటూ ఉంటాం..
