The story
The Oscars have been overshadowed by real-life drama after the actor Will Smith walked onto the
stage and hit the comedian Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife.
Minutes later, Will Smith won the award for Best Actor for his role in King Richard. He used his acceptance speech to apologise to the Academy.
