Which one are you? Of course, it's possible to be both at once!
In this activity, we're going to test your knowledge of the words that have these suffixes. Sometimes a word can have either -free or -less, but be careful because this can change the meaning, as in careless and carefree.
One hint to help you is that for places where something is not allowed, we usually use -free.

Suffixes
These three suffixes can be added to nouns to turn them into adjectives
-less = 'without' the noun before
worthless (not having worth), tasteless (having no taste)
-free = 1) 'without' the noun before 2) can mean the noun before is 'not allowed' in an area
pollution-free (having no pollution), car-free (describes an area where cars are not allowed)
-ful = with a lot of the noun before
powerful (having lots of power)
