OK, let's quickly practise the pronunciation together! Notice that when we say "What are you doing tomorrow" we pronounce 'are' as 'uh' 'What are you doing tomorrow?' Repeat after me:

'Egaa kana keessatti 'to be' – 'am'  xumura muummeerratti 'ing' dabaluun fayyadamna. Xumurri mumee kunis 'have' kan jedhuudha, kanaafuu 'having' qabaannaa jechuudha.

Isaan waayyu hojjechaa hinjirru jedhan, that they are 'not doing anything'. Yaadadhu hima negetiiv gochuuf 'to be' booda 'not' galchita.  Akkasumas ibsa gaarii ta'e achitti fayyadamani- 'it's my day off' - guyyaa hojii hinhojjenneedha jedhani.

When you can say 'I'm not doing anything' remember that it's important to stress the 'not'. Repeat after me:
