As a noun, specific is only used in the plural form, 'specifics'. This means relating to some exact things and not others.

- The restaurant in London is the specific place I'm talking about.
- He asked for a specific type of soup, but I can't remember what it was!
The plural noun specifics means relating to some exact things and not others.
