By bus: Bus users should take route number 1 from St. Helier or Gorey to La Rocque Harbour. This runs every 30 minutes during the main part of the day in either direction.
By car: The walk begins from La Rocque harbour in Grouville. The harbour/beach car park can be reached either by following the coast road from St. Helier through St Clement or through Grouville from Gorey. | | Walk conditions
There is no footpath for the majority of the walk circuit, although the lanes and roads are relatively traffic-free.
The walk for the most part is flat with a slight upward incline as you head inland from the harbour.
Those who choose to walk on the beach and fully explore the harbour area may need to negotiate uneven slipways, steps, ladders, sand, pebbles and rocks.
