About the contributor

I am a retired Police Officer from Northampton with an interest in most aspects of World War 2. I am particularly interested in tank warfare and am currently researching the T34/85.
Because of my late Father's R.N. service in HMS BRIDGEWATER,and HMS THRUSTER, I am also very interested in those ships and the actions they were involved in. I intend to contribute to the site some of my Father's notes about his experiences as a W.T. Operator in Thruster during the Mediterranean Landings.
