In the Archery Chantelle Goubert won another bronze medal in the Women's Recurve Head to Head competition after beating Åland's Saana-Maria Sinisalo in the bronze medal play off. In the same contest Alderney's Jennifer Tatton scraped through to the quarter finals defeating Jersey's Liz Pomroy by one point with a score 75 to 74 only to lose out to Rhodes 46 to 93. Guernsey's success in the archery continued during the afternoon as Vivien Le Page won bronze in the Women's Compound Head to Head Knockout losing out on a spot in the finals to Aalin George from the Isle of Man. ![]() The crowd cheer on the competitors in the 5000m Ben Lowndes was back in the swimming pool and won another gold in the Men's 100m Individual Medley with a time of 57.54. Robyn Le Friec picked up bronze in the Women's 400m Freestyle event and there was a silver for Jonathon Le Noury in the men's 200m backstroke where Guernsey's James Jurkiewicz also took fifth place in that event. There was more success in the pool as Jeremy Osbourne won silver in the men's 100m freestyle event where Ian Hubert also came fourth missing out on bronze by half a second and in the men's 4x100m medley relay the Guernsey team of Ian Hubert, Jonathon Le Noury, Ben Lowndes and Jeremy Osborne won gold with a time of 3:49.32. ![]() Louise Perrio and Martine Scholes The athletics saw more medals as well with a Guernsey 'one-two' in the women's 5000m as Louise Perrio won gold and Martine Scholes came away with the silver. There was also success for Lee Merrien in the men's 5000m as he defeated Olympic athlete Janne Holmén on home turf to win gold in a time of 14.21.35. In the judo team event Guernsey made it to the semi-finals only to lose out to Rhodes and then the Faroe Islands to just miss out on a third bronze in the martial art. In the tennis Patrick Ogier progressed to the semi finals of the men's individual event with a win over James Taylor of Gibraltar 6-3, 6-1.
