All the sights, sounds, and even tastes of the Indian sub-continent were on offer at the Guildhall in Gloucester on Sunday. The BBC Radio Gloucestershire Mela 2004 was the fifth event of its kind, and was a fantastic celebration of Asian life and culture. Completely free Admission to the mela was completely free, and it attracted more than a thousand people who packed into the Guildhall. On offer throughout the day were activities such as Yoga, Indian Head Massages and Cooking demonstrations. There was also plenty of Indian Music, Crafts, Food, Belly and Bhangra dancing, and a special screening of the film "Bollywood Queen".
