It's the 25th annual Children in Need TV telethon and we're hoping to raise more money than ever before. All the fun will take place on Friday 19th November and Saturday 20th November, and BBC Radio Gloucestershire will be active around the county meeting fundraisers. The eyes of the nation will be on us, as live BBC cameras tune-in to broadcast some parts of the concert at the Barbican Car Park, Ladybellegate Street on Children In Need Appeal night. Chart-topping acts, including Brian McFadden, will perform alongside three local acts at the event. It's sure to be a night not to be missed! Fundraising feats Tell us about your crazy fundraising feats for Children In Need. Are you bathing in beans, staying silent for a day or hopping on one foot? Here are some examples of what you're up to: | We are a stationery and office products supplier and we are donating money for orders placed w/c 15th Nov and also dressing up as film characters and having a lot of fun! And also our local delivery drivers will be dressing up on the Friday - Officestar Group Ltd, Mushet Industrial Park, Coleford. | | Monmouth Folk Club (formerly Forest of Dean Folk Club) have a fundraising singers night plus they have produced a CD of tracks donated by regular artists and guests, which will be released on the night and half of proceeds will go to Children in Need | | Children and staff at St James Primary School, Chipping Campden, will be decorating their wellies and wearing them to school. | | We are doing a sponsored head shave with two members of staff and other members of staff are dressing up - Tesco, Tetbury. | | The children and babies are wearing their pyjamas to support Pudsey. They are also doing Pudsey crafts and eating Pudsey cakes - Quedgeley Playdays Toddler Group. |
