Task Foster Care aims to help young people in foster care to talk about difficulties they face in their lives. The scheme helps them deal with such troubles as school difficulties, behavioural problems or hassles with family or peers, through individually designed programmes that provide a structured routine and help them improve their social skills. Young people taking part get intensive support from psychologists, social workers and teaching staff. | Teenagers in care may feel insecure and isolated |

Moira Swann, Gloucestershire County Council's head of service for children and families said: "Often young people in care have experienced trauma and disruption leaving them feeling insecure and isolated.
